We create protein-rich, plant-based meals that are naturally gluten-free, made with simple ingredients, and are ready in minutes by just adding hot water. Our flavorful sprouted power bowls are inspired by India’s diverse culinary heritage. Each bowl provides 18g of complete plant-based protein, 12-14g of fiber, sprouted lentils for better digestion, and bold regional spices—all without added sugar and oil, and are non-GMO certified. From our holistic roots to our eco-conscious packaging, Aahana’s reflects a simple yet powerful vision: to bring vibrant, healthful food to busy lives – anytime, anywhere.” – Sonal Khakhar, Founder

Why do you sprout your lentils and grains?
Sprouting breaks down antinutrients and enhances nutrient absorption. It also makes the food easier to digest, so you get more goodness from every bite without feeling weighed down.

What makes our Lentil Bowls A “Complete Protein”?
We thoughtfully blend sprouted lentils, beans, and grains to deliver all nine essential amino acids – supporting muscle health and making plant-based eating truly satisfying.

Are your Power Bowls high in fiber?
Yes! Each bowl offers 12 – 14g of dietary fiber, naturally sourced from whole plants to support digestion, maintain steady energy, and keep you feeling full.

Are your meals gluten-free?
Absolutely. We use only naturally gluten-free ingredients and ensure our facility is gluten-safe, making them suitable for those with celiac needs or gluten sensitivities.

Do the bowls contain added sugar or oil?
None at all. We rely on clean, real ingredients to deliver flavor – no added sugar, no oils, just wholesome food you can trust.

Are the meals certified for special dietary standards?
Yes! All our Sprouted Power Bowls are Non-GMO Project Verified, Kosher certified, and proudly crafted by a WBENC-certified woman-owned business. These certifications reflect our commitment to integrity, inclusivity, and food you can believe in.

How do I prepare the Sprouted Power Bowls?
Simple and fast:
• Add Hot Water – Remove the pouch, add boiling water to the fill line (~200 ml), stir, cover, wait 5 minutes, stir again, and enjoy.
• Use a Microwave – Add water, stir, microwave for 1 minute (partially covered), let sit for 3 minutes, stir, and enjoy.

Are your ingredients organic and clean?
Yes. We use certified organic ingredients for all our lentils and grains. All our meals are vegan, gluten-free, non-GMO, and made with simple, honest ingredients – no shortcuts, no compromises.

What lifestyles are your bowls suitable for?
Ideal for vegan, gluten-free, and high-protein diets. They’re free from dairy, soy, and nuts (except for coconut in select varieties), making them a wholesome fit for many lifestyles.

What is Sprouting?
Sprouting is a natural process where seeds, legumes, or grains are soaked and allowed to germinate until they grow tiny shoots. This transformation enhances the nutritional profile of the food – making it not only more digestible but also more nourishing.

Benefits of Sprouting
1. Higher Nutrient Bioavailability
Sprouting increases the concentration of key vitamins and minerals—like B vitamins, iron, and zinc—while making them easier for your body to absorb.
2. Improved Digestibility
By breaking down anti-nutrients such as phytic acid and enzyme inhibitors, sprouting helps your body access and absorb more of the food’s natural nutrients.
3. Antioxidant Boost
Sprouting elevates antioxidant levels, helping to protect your cells from oxidative stress and potentially lowering the risk of chronic diseases.
4. Enhanced Enzyme Activity
The process activates natural enzymes that assist in breaking down complex carbs, proteins, and fats—making digestion smoother and more efficient.
5. Alkalizing Effect
Sprouted legumes and grains can help support a more alkaline internal environment, which may be linked to better overall health and lower inflammation.
6. Potential Anti-Inflammatory Properties
With fewer anti-nutrients and a richer nutrient profile, sprouted foods may help reduce inflammation—benefiting both digestive health and overall wellness.
