Inspired by the founder’s trip to the Himalayas, this flavorful chai latte blend combines the chai spices of its Eastern heritage with a Western twist. A sweet and mildly spiced signature flavor blends black tea, honey, smooth vanilla and chai spices in every delicious sip. Oregon Chai strives to bring incredible flavor to the world, cup after cup, with minimal environmental impact. To do that, we source organic ingredients whenever possible. What is Chai?
Chai is a blend of black tea, spices, and herbs. It is often served with milk and sweetened with sugar or honey. Chai is a spiced tea derived from the Assam region of India. Over the past 10 years, it’s grown in popularity around the globe.

Founder, Heather Howitt, went searching for inspiration and when she discovered chai, she knew she encountered something worth savoring. In awe of the experience, she set out to bring chai to her home state of Oregon.

Drawing inspiration from the Oregon outdoors, she spent three years perfecting her recipe and in 1994 Oregon Chai was founded. It was the first chai brought to America and set the standard for authentic chai.

What started as chai concentrate with plastic bottles and hand-drawn labels quickly became a coffee shop favorite. Acquired by Kerry in 2004, the brand was non-GMO project verified in 2015, is USDA Organic Label and has continued to grow exponentially.
